1. Who we are
PureConvo is located in Amsterdam. We are responsible for processing your personal data as described in this privacy statement. Questions? Contact us at pureconvoclub@outlook.com
2. What data we collect
- Email address: When you sign up for the waiting list.
- Location data (indirectly, via IP address): We use your IP address once to determine which language (Dutch or English) to display the site to you. We do not store your IP address ourselves.
- Contact details for a message: If you contact us via the contact form, we receive the data you enter yourself (e.g., name and email address).
- Technical data: As is common with any website visit, Shopify (our webshop provider) automatically processes basic technical data to ensure the site functions correctly, such as browser type and device.
We do not collect payment details or address details, as there is currently nothing to order.
3. Why we use this data

4. With whom we share data
We never sell your data to third parties. We do use the following processors, who act exclusively on our behalf:
- Shopify — for hosting the website, processing waiting list registrations, and sending emails via Shopify Email.
- ipapi.co — for one-time determination of your language preference based on your IP address. This happens anew with each visit; we do not store this data.
Both parties may process data outside the EU. Where this is the case, we ensure it happens based on appropriate safeguards (such as EU standard contractual clauses).
5. How long we store your data
We store your email address as long as you are on the waiting list and for a maximum of 2 years after your last interaction with our emails, unless you unsubscribe earlier. We store contact form messages for as long as necessary to handle your request.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data
- Have incorrect data corrected
- Have your data deleted
- Object to the processing
- Withdraw your consent at any time (e.g., by unsubscribing with one click)

7. Cookies
Our site only uses functional cookies that are necessary for the website to function properly (e.g., remembering your language preference). We do not currently use tracking or advertising cookies.
8. Minors
Our site and the game are not aimed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under this age.
9. Changes
We may amend this privacy statement, for example, as soon as we add new functionalities (such as a full webshop). The most current version will always be available on this page.
